Chopper Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft flying over a well-attended California shoreline unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers watched.
Footage shared on the internet capture the helicopter beginning to twirl above the shoreline then descending towards the border of the coast, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a staircase near the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Details
Emergency responders stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” following the accident on that day.
Three persons on the road were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
